finasteride for hair loss

About Finasteride

Finasteride is a prescription medication that can assist in lowering DHT levels.
Finasteride is a FDA approved Hair Loss Drug.
Finasteride DOES NOT promote blood supply to the hair follicle, it helps to treat your hair loss by lowering the DHT levels in your body.
The medication requires 6-12mths of daily consumption before experiencing noticeable effects.
If during the initial 6-12mths you stopped taking the medication for ~1 or 2 weeks, then you may need to RECOMMENCE the initial 6-12mth loading dose.
As with all drugs & chemicals, there is a chance of side effects. Documented side effects can include a reduction in sex drive, lower energy levels & weight gain.
Finasteride medication is recommended for men only. Women and Children are not advised to consume it.
Another disadvantage of finasteride is – when you stop consuming it, all the benefits that you achieved during your treatment course will be lost.
At Great Directions, we believe in a “LESS DRUG + CHEMICAL INTERVENTION” approach.
Please consult a medical practitioner if you would like to consume this medication.
