The most common form of hair loss for men & women is known as Androgenetic Alopecia. Common characteristics of this type of hair loss include:
• Impacts both Men & Women
• This condition is hereditary (meaning it is a genetic condition passed down from either your mother or father)
• The hair loss gene, unlocks a genetic weakness within the hair follicles on the top & front of the head, but does not impact the sides, back or any other hair on the body.
• The gene makes hair on the top and front of the head thin, when the follicles contact a hormone (known as DHT or Di Hydro Testosterone)
• The DHT hormone causes the hair follicle to miniaturize and thin, the follicles ATTRACT LESS BLOOD SUPPLY and therefore you will start to experience thinner, weaker, finer & flatter hair.
• DHT is damaging/injuring your hair follicles.
• Eventually the follicle can die, when this happens, no hair strand can be grown.
